Maurizio Piccaluga, Head of Global Technical Support, and Davide Pozzolo, Head of Customer Support for Piaggio Aerospace in Italy, travel to Brookshire, Texas, to show how Piaggio Aerospace is committed to supporting their aircraft 100%.
Maurizio and Davide spend the day visiting with staff and customers at SimsAir Aviation Service. "Piaggio Aerospace is in full production along with current fleet parts support at 100%," says Davide, helping put our customer's concerns to rest after the fall of Piaggio America. We discussed with Maurizio about the continued factory training for our technicians. In contrast, we consulted with Davide about the logistics and pre-planning for large inspections and the needed parts. With Piaggio's commitment to product support, SimsAir's commitment to US fleet support, and our capabilities, including structural repairs, everyone was satisfied the US fleet will receive the support it needs. With the US having nearly 50% of the global fleet, Piaggio understands that aviation is here in the US, and they assure us they are committed to supporting it.
